Do you remember when Lucas Games made FPS ? one was called Outlaws (with an incredible OST) at this time i found the concept of Western FPS pretty original, and exept Red Dead Revovler, Guns, Red Dead Redemption we cant say there is a lot of this kind of games on our new machine, Techland (the guys behind Dead Island), started their own western FPS called Call Of Juarez (we will safely skip and forget The Cartel) in the two first we were fellowing the McCalls.

In Gunslinger we are fellowing a guy called Silas Greaves, apparently this bounty hunter met a lot of western celebrities, the story is silas telling his memories and the most original part is sometimes the game poses to focus on a detail of the story, and sometimes the set change because silas correct his story, pretty creative i must say.

For the rest we got a good FPS with some modern fps flaw (like you are a wolverine super hero and you can heal yourself by breathing air) we got also an experience system almost like Farcry 3 giving you some perks to improve our good Silas.

The graphism are okay stylised and celshade like some graphic novels, not the most gorgeous i saw this year. The weapons feel alright and the actions is fast paced, we got also a bullet time we can use like in max payn contrary or the second (COJ : Bound in Blood) where you had to use your bullet time in less than 45 seconds. The music is nice, i m not a fond of western genre music even if i enjoyed the Sergio Leone tone of Outlaws and Red Dead Redemption was good.

First impressions after a hour of game : Really Good ! The gunfight are good and the showdown system is interesting and not gimmcky. My only regret i realised it s an other FPS on pc better played with a controller than mouse and keyboard, it s more obvious during the Showdown.

Avoriaz when i was a kid always been synonymous with horror movie, now the fantastic and horror film festival is in Gerarmer.

i saw almost all movie on this poster exept Friday 13th, i mean the original.

thank to the Microsoft Xbox One reveal : i ll stick with my PC, i ll pass the PS4 and the Xbox1 or i ll buy the future Valve box dedicated to Steam.

The latest console game i bought was Injustice : Gods Among Us, i ll probably buy Ni No Kuni as soon as i can, because honnestly i dont care about CoD and Halo tv series.

Of course i think it s pretty stupid to turn the console into a smart tv, not abble to play the 1st xbox and the 360 games and the bullshit the second user fees. Serriously : XBOX 1, i thought the first xbox was released in 2001, and i m sure i m not the only one calling the 1st Xbox : the xbox 1. Certainly a marketing rocket scientist genius had this über rad idea.

Even if the the PS4 is appealing, i ll really stick with my PC or i dont know. On Steam i dont pay to play online, i dont pay to save my game on a cloud, plus now with the big screen i can play games on tv screen, but i got a good monitor so i dont see why i should play pc game like a console.

From now i ll save money for a cpu, ram and a graphical card.

Where can i start when it comes about Fez, how to not mention Phil Fish its developer ? Because Fez is certainly the most cryptic game EVER. Sometimes games are more than just games, they are complete experience, i already mentioned it in my Papo & Yo, because it s almost like entering in the mind of a game designer.

How to categorize Fez ? The best i can do is call it a metroidvania with metagaming riddles (?). When you start Fez, you ll have a platformer then once you get the famous fez hat, you gain the habilité to change perspectives, but once you obtained the fez, the world start to glitch and you have to look for golden cubes in each world with some platform puzzle, and the less you can say is this universe is very huge !

Some riddles will ask you to flash qrcode, images are hidden in the spectrogram for the music, some other will ask you to change your computer times.

It s really hard to review Fez, because each player will have a different experience of the game and the pixelart design with this famous 2.5 D is really appealing with a mysterious mood, the only thing scaring me is i would probably have to take notes of the game because of its cryptic nature, here a tumblr dedicated to notes from players.

I would highly advice you to play this game and watch Indy Game : The Movie. I m giving a 8 out 10, it s an excellent game and pretty unique like Braid or Bidding of Isaac. Available on Steam and XBLA.
